Benefits of Accreditation
EUFAC-accredited Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound fellowships are recognized as the top ultrasound training programs for emergency physicians. Only fellowship graduates from EUFAC accredited programs can sit for certification through the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Deadline for submitting initial application for accreditation
A completed application includes application with all supporting documentation attached, application fee in hand, department chair verification received.
Programs seeking initial accreditation will be unable to start a new application between April 1 – June 30, 2024. A new application form will roll out in July 2024 for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Cost of Accreditation
Application Fee – $3,900
Annual Fee – $2,700
The application fee is payable prior to submitting an initial application for programs that have never been accredited, or a reapplication for programs that were accredited and are seeking to continue accreditation after their initial accreditation period is completed. The annual fee is payable annually once a program is accredited.
